Presentation and cocktail hour fundraiser to benefit the Beacon Historical Society hosted by the Wonderbar and StoryScreen. 

Join us for an evening at the historic Wonderbar! Mix and mingle while enjoying signature cocktails and tasty appetizers.  Diane Lapis, president of the Beacon Historical Society and coauthor of the book Cocktails Across America: A Postcard View of Cocktail Culture from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, will present a program about the history of the original 1934 Art Deco-styled Beacon Theater and its companion cocktail lounge/restaurant. Time travel with us and dress to impress.

Food service from 6:00-8:00pm

Presentation in the theater throughout the evening

Q&A at 7:00pm featuring Diane Lapis and Anne Peck-Davis, coauthors of Cocktails Across America. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Ticket price includes two signature cocktails, appetizers, and presentation. Event tickets are $60; $65 after April 25.
